Why am I running? For my children and grandchildren. For my community. We are living in a world in crisis. Our economy is in crisis and works only for a few who are already well-off. The greed of the fossil fuel industry has changed our climate to the breakingpoint. The healthcare industry leaves too many of us behind and is bleeding those of us it does serve financially. This is not the world I want to live in. There are practical solutions to these problems. We need to elect politicians who feel the urgency of our problems and are committed to progress.
Who am I. I have been a full-time Vermont resident for 13 years though his heart has been here since 1958 when he first came as a child and I have had a home in Vermont since 1982 . Scott and wife Heather live in Shrewsbury. They have four children and eight grandchildren –so far!
Scott has a background in information technology and is founder of Vermont Acts, to get money out of politics. He serves as the Rutland County Democrats Treasurer & State Committeeman. He is has been an active leader of the Vermont Workers Center, and is a trustee at Spring Lake Ranch. He is on the leadership Committee at Rights and Democracy and is Treasurer of the Vermont Political Revolution Fund.
